Sociology is an established AS and A level course. Sociology is the academic study of modern human societies. Its subject matter is anything and everything that humans believe and do as members of social groups. Sociologists may study phenomena as diverse as patterns of crime, the impact of social class identity on life chances, the effects of the mobile phone on youth identity and the characteristics of new religious movements.

We follow the AQA syllabus.
